Israel’s experimental air-defense system known as the Iron Beam uses laser technology to strike down drones and rockets, but military analysts say the device needs U.S. support to improve its performance. WSJ explains how it works. We are not supposed to talk about this
does it work faster with multiple beams
Pro tip: lasers are invisible to radar 👩🔧
Did President Biden say "We've Reaformed"?
Sick of this country and those people, they have caused more wars and conflict the last 100 years than anyone else on the face of the earth. I hope Iran strikes first with the aid of Russia.
This is like US Raytheon laser defense system and same idea as the Star Wars Program from the Ronald Reagan era during the cold war with USSR. So, this laser theory is not fresh to the US, but Israel’s Iron Beam put it into action effectively. And the energy to use for this laser is really cheap, like $3.50/shot, equivalent to 12 rounds of 9mm ammo only, with a speed of light. This is outstanding and practical. Somewhat possible, US fighter jets might be equipped with these laser technology like in movie star wars. Ukraine need these Iron Beam badly, but it’s up to the Israelis.
Wenn man die dinge vorberechenenn kann weiss man wo erwas geschieht bevor es geschieht somit konnente solche abwehrsysstem hinlaenglich sein
If the final development ended, I beg you all Israel and U.S to let Thailand Taiwan Japan Laos Vietnam Malay Singapore Philippines to install this weapon, for self defence and against the war from China, devil Russia, and bad boy North Korea.
just cover the weapon in reflective material ? stupid
what if the rocket have a reflective surface?
Why explain. Want the enemy to know how.
Palestine will dislike this video
i believe the boing 787 makes enough power to run 10 of these. maybe a military version?
Powers are going up quick, 1MW is in development. Atmospheric blooming can also be overcome with adaptive optics. Not sure what can be done about fog but I expect someone will think of something. Also kinetics and bullet interceptors are making a come back!
Why this Iron beam not used as a test field in Ukraine? Very good place to test it's capabilities how good it is.
Did they seriously say a us household only uses 1kw?
Easy to counter such a system. Just paint the rocket in reflective materials.
It’s gonna cost way more per laser shot.
If this was put into low earth orbit...could it start a fire in California? In theory of course
