"Forza Horizon 5 is a deep and nuanced car nirvana for revheads and auto geeks to endlessly collect, tinker, and experiment. It’s also an extremely accessible buffet of racing spectacle open to everyone, from day one, Deluxe Edition diehards to Game Pass nomads – no matter their driving skill or mechanical knowledge. It’s an occasionally goofy but always earnest Valentine to Mexico’s world-famous culture, and a romantic ode to the magic of road-tripping through postcard-perfect vacation vistas. It’s a long haul, MMO-inspired racer that’s exploding with more races, activities, and event types than can comfortably fit on the map – and yet it still always feels relaxed rather than daunting. It never locks you into something you don’t want to do and steadily rewards you for however you choose to play it. It looks beautiful, it sounds magnificent, and it is glorious to play. Yes, Forza Horizon 5 is a lot of things. Above all, however, it is the result of a racing studio at the peak of its craft and the best open-world racing game I’ve ever played." #ign

Forza Horizon 5 cannot be praised enough. Without a doubt, it’s one of the best racing games ever made. If you’ve played its predecessors, that shouldn’t come as a surprise, but the sheer quality on display here is staggering, and made all the more impressive by the scope and varied nature of the experience. Playground Games has been honing this open world racing formula for close to a decade at this point, making meaningful improvements with each iteration- and with Forza Horizon 5, once again, the series has touched new heights. As impossible it may seem in the moment that it will be surpassed, however, if history has taught us anything, it’s that this is a series that never stops improving.

Forza Horizon 5 might just be the best racing game ever created. I know that's a lot to say but this Xbox Series X exclusive game is very well made. PlayGround Games and Xbox have a massive hit on their hands that will surely help push Xbox Game Pass even more this holiday season. Microsoft continues to dominate 2021 over the PlayStation 5, especially with this new Xbox games coming. In this Forza Horizon 5 review let's talk about the things that makes this game so memorable. Despite the unblemishing praise from all over, Forza Horizon 5 isn't as good and great as it seems, espeically in 2023. It has gigantic flaws, ones that destroy and crumble it's fun. We’re certainly in a golden era for Hot Wheels-themed racing games right now, with Milestone’s surprisingly brilliant Hot Wheels Unleashed successfully carving up its own patch of orange plastic as well, but Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels is an essential expansion for new and returning Forza fans."

Forza Horizon 5 is a game that is not made for gamers like me who enjoy the occasional FPS and a ton of RPGs. Want je kon onze reactie natuurlijk al zien. En jeez wat was dat een ervaring, maar hoe zit het verder inhoudelijk in elkaar. Is het vet? En hoe zijn de verschillende activiteiten. Zit er verder nog een verhaal in? En hoe is dat uitgebouwd. Moet je dit überhaupt gaan spelen. Of wachten tot het in de budgetbak ligt? Dat is natuurlijk de vraag. Verder gaan we het daarom is ook even hebben over de grafische stijl van de game. Kopen, budgetbak of slopen? Geeft dit echt een next gen gevoel? Bij het begin waren we erg onder de indruk van de graphics. Maar is dat het enige wat echt sterk naar voren komt? Of is er zoveel meer over de game te vertellen wat het beter maakt. Daarbij is natuurlijk de vraag. De game is ook te spelen op de Gamepass. Wat als het daar niet staat? Is dit dan kopen, budgetbak of slopen? Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure is a meaty, varied, and enjoyable package. If you're sticking only to the critical path, you can blast through it in anywhere between four to six hours, but if you take it upon yourself to engage in all of its side activities, discover all of its roads and areas, get behind the wheel in all ten of its new cars, and win every single one of its events, that can easily to climb to 10 hours or more. And given how fundamentally fun the mechanics of Forza Horizon 5 are, you know that the vast majority of that is going to be an enjoyable experience.
